100 Women Who Care presents October donations to local nonprofits

Members of 100 Women Who Care Southern Delaware recently gathered to present an award of $15,555 to be shared by Duffle Bags and More, and the League of Women Voters of Sussex County Delaware.

The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation contributed $5,000 in matching funds.

Duffle Bags and More Inc. is a nonprofit organization with the mission to provide sets of toiletries and duffle bags to be distributed to foster children in transition across Delaware.

With the aim to encourage active and informed participation in government and to increase understanding of public policy issues, the League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization that does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for elective office.
