I want to endorse the sentiments regarding the majestic tree in Milton written by two submitters appearing in the Oct. 31 issue.
I hope plans can be revised to save this tree. Too many forested areas are being sacrificed in the name of developments to advance and achieve the goals of the developer. The tree in Milton is like a statue of the history it has witnessed throughout its lifetime.
Please save the tree and other living historians of Sussex County.
Developers should value trees more, because without them, houses would have to be made of metal and plastic, not lumber.
