Members of the Delmarva Leathernecks Foundation recently gathered to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
Rep. Jeff Hilovsky, R-Long Neck, presented foundation members with ceremonial copies of Delaware House Bill 1, which was signed into law this August by Gov. Matt Meyer, creating the Delaware Department of Veterans Affairs. The foundation supports veterans’ organizations and local charities in Sussex County and the surrounding area.
