SOAH welcomes inaugural student intern class
December 9, 2025
Local nonprofit Speak Out Against Hate’s inaugural class of interns consists of three high school students interested in social justice and countering hate, especially in schools, youth organizations and social media.
The SOAH Youth Ambassador Leadership interns are Amber Jennings and Biloxi Buffington from Sussex Academy, and Emerson Sheldon from Cape Henlopen High School.
Each will develop personal goals and work with a personal mentor who will support them throughout the internship year, continuing through June. Each intern will receive a stipend upon completion of the program.
Mentors and SOAH members are Bonnie Tamres-Moore, Adrienne Fyock and Jan Kliger. Steven Band is internship coordinator.
