Friends of Lewes library to host holiday sale Dec. 13

The Friends of the Lewes Public Library will host an Old and New holiday sale from  9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13, at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.

Shoppers can explore a wide variety of rare and collectible books and movies, new children’s books, holiday cards, literary T-shirts, tote bags and other gifts. Lewes-themed items exclusive to the library such as hats, throws and keychains will also be available.

“This fun, festive event is a great opportunity to purchase unique gifts – everything from collectible books to exclusive Lewes drink coasters – all while benefiting the Lewes Public Library,” said Candace Vessella, Friends president. 

Raffle tickets will also be available for three themed gift baskets. Winning tickets will be drawn at the end of the sale.

Admission to the sale is free, and all are welcome. Free gift-wrapping is available. Credit cards will be accepted for purchases of $10 or more. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Lewes Public Library.
