In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Worcester Preparatory School held a pink dress-down day, netting a donation of more than $2,300 for Beebe Medical Foundation.
Students and faculty came together in a sea of pink, each donating $5 to benefit the foundation and its women’s health programs, which provide free and reduced-cost services to the community.
Special recognition goes to WPS junior Olivia Soares, who brought attention to the important cause and led the effort to support Beebe women’s health services.
Beebe Medical Foundation Executive Director of Development Kay Young visited the school to accept the donation check.
