AmVets Post 2 makes sandwiches for the homeless

Members of AmVets Post 2 in Long Neck, in partnership with nonprofit Hope On Deck, raced the clock to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches Dec. 4 that will be provided to Delaware’s homeless population.
The sandwiches are part of bagged meals the volunteers from Hope on Deck provide to people in Delaware struggling with homelessness.
