Narrow streets, tiny cars, and the Cape Gazette in Amalfi

Christopher and Nancy Bright of Rehoboth Beach traveled to Amalfi, Italy, in mid-September for a week coinciding with Nancy’s Pilates teaching. While there, they kept up with Cape Gazette news and watched Amalfi’s tiny cars zip through streets so tight most visitors hold their breath. The town, part of Italy’s UNESCO‑recognized Amalfi Coast, is known for its dramatic cliffs and pastel buildings stacked along the shoreline. They also met up with their daughter, who graduated from UD last May and now lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
