Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware accepts $25,000 donation

Representatives of i.g. Burton Toyota of Dover recently delivered a $25,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, reinforcing the dealership’s ongoing commitment to supporting local youth and strengthening the communities it serves.
The contribution will help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware continue providing safe, supportive environments for young people across the state, with programming focused on academic success, character development, leadership and healthy lifestyles.
Through caring mentors and evidence-based programming, the organization works to ensure all young people – especially those who need it most – have access to a safe place to learn, grow and thrive.
“Giving back to the communities where we live and work has always been a core value of the i.g. Burton Auto Group,” said Charlie Burton, president. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware make a real, lasting impact on the lives of young people, and we’re proud to support an organization that helps set kids on a path toward success.”
MJ Lofland, chief operating officer of the i.g. Burton Auto Group, echoed that sentiment, noting the importance of investing locally. “This donation is about more than dollars; it’s about opportunity,” said Lofland. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware provide mentorship, structure and encouragement that help young people build confidence and reach their potential. We’re honored to play a small role in that mission.”
