Rilla-Fest to celebrate music, art and community

February 18, 2026

Music lovers and fans of the late Christine Havrilla are invited to gather for Rilla-Fest Saturday, Feb. 28, and Sunday, March 1, at venues throughout the Cape Region. Performances, film screenings, art and community events will honor Havrilla’s music and her influence on the regional music scene.

After a long battle with cancer, the singer-songwriter died in May 2025, but her family, friends and fans are determined to continue her legacy. Her distinct "trash guitar" style and gritty vocals combined with live looping captivated listeners and fostered a devoted fan base known as the Rillage.

Proceeds will go to the Frantic Music Project, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, to support the Christine Havrilla Scholarship Fund that assists independent female musicians in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Organized by former bandmate Colleen Clark in cooperation with Havrilla’s family and the Frantic Music Project, the weekend of events will transform Sussex County into a hub of music, storytelling and artistic reflection – a fitting tribute to one of Delaware’s most beloved artists.
