Delmarva Christian School has been awarded $250,000 to support the construction and renovation of its Georgetown campus, a major step toward the school’s vision of a unified prekindergarten to grade 12 educational campus.
DCS was selected as one of 39 grantees in the Longwood Foundation’s Fall 2025 grant cycle, following months of preparation, planning and submission of detailed project information outlining the scope and long-term impact of the project. The award serves as a strong affirmation of both the proposal’s quality and the awarding organization’s confidence in the transformative potential of Delmarva Christian School.
“Longwood’s commitment to being a catalyst for organizations is clearly reflected in this investment,” said Justin Savini, DCS director of advancement. “It affirms not only this project, but the mission of Delmarva Christian School and the role it will play in shaping future generations. We are encouraged by the momentum it creates as we continue building environments where students can grow spiritually, academically and physically.”
The campus expansion project is a cornerstone of the DCS Stronger Together campaign, which focuses on merging the Georgetown and Milton campuses into one location, strengthening facilities, expanding opportunities, and ensuring long-term sustainability for the school’s growing prekindergarten to grade 12 community.
