Fake spring draws students to sand

Taking advantage of a burst of deceptively springlike weather, siblings Pierce and Eve Barker - a senior and a freshman at Cape Henlopen High School - spend time on the sand March 11 at Rehoboth Beach after school as the Cape Region enjoyed a few days of warmth.

The taste of fake spring didn’t last long, as a cold front returned cooler temperatures and even snow flurries March 12.
