U.S. AG: Milton man illegally had gun, ammunition

A Milton man was indicted by a federal grand jury March 17 in connection with having a gun with an obliterated serial number and ammunition even though he was prohibited from possessing them.

Officials said Andre Brickhouse, 34, was found Dec. 9, 2025,  with a 9mm handgun that had an obliterated serial number. He was also found with a large-capacity magazine and 21 rounds of
ammunition, officials said. A convicted felon, Brickhouse is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.

Brickhouse was charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
