Tyler Montgomery Wilson, beloved son, brother
Tyler Montgomery Wilson gained his wings March 27, 2026, in an automobile accident. He was born in Lewes Jan. 13, 1994, to Tiffany Gooch-Wilson and the late Tony Wilson. He was the second eldest of five children. Tyler graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 2013.
Tyler was an avid gamer and held various jobs throughout Lewes and Rehoboth. Tyler had a passion for cooking. He was compassionate and loving when it came to his siblings, and was truly his big brother’s keeper. Tyler loved hard when it came to those who loved him, and he had a heart of gold. Tyler’s dad likened him to the tortoise, saying that slow and steady wins the race, because he was deliberate and steadfast in his ways.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father Tony Wilson; his grandmother, Betty Gooch; and uncle, Jerry Williams.
Tyler leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Tiffany Gooch (Calvin); his siblings, Cameron, Ajahni, Ayden and Kennedy Wilson; maternal grandfather, Ralph Gooch; and paternal grandmother, Dorethea Howell; a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and godchildren; and special friends, Randi Riggs, Jalyn Maull and Brianna Schaefer.
We will miss his big smile and his goofy ways.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 11, at Israel United Methodist Church, 20230 Plantation Road, Lewes, with a service beginning at 1 p.m.
