Lions build platform for Clipper Express in Milton Town Park

Milton Lions Club's Clipper Express train has a new addition. Lion John Collier, train engineer, completed phase one of the train platform with a little help from the Milton Lions, Rehoboth Lion Tom Foster and Midway Lions Harry White and Joe Smith.
It took two days in 100-plus degree weather and 237 Lion hours to complete this project. The station will enable riders to load and unload more easily without having to step up into the train. Completion of the next phase, the addition of a ticket booth, is planned for next year.
The train, based in Milton's Town Park, runs every Wednesday for the summer Concerts in the Park series.
Cost for a ride on the Clipper Express is still 25 cents for all ages.
