The Children’s Beach House held its 10th Annual Beach Barbecue fundraiser Aug. 25. The popular end of summer event also celebrated the 75th anniversary of Lydia Chichester du Pont’s founding of the beach house on Lewes Beach.
Due to heavy rain throughout the evening, the barbecue was transformed to an indoor event and supporters, volunteers and staff filled the available seating to enjoy food, drinks, music and the lively social atmosphere.
