Henry Francis Fortna, shop supervisor

Henry Francis Fortna, 93, of Georgetown, formerly of Lewes, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. He was born Aug. 1, 1919, in Womelsdorf, Pa., son of the late Edward W. and Emma (Shoener) Fortna.

Mr. Fortna was a model shop supervisor for AMP Inc. of Harrisburg, Pa. He moved to the beach area in 1975 from Hershey, Pa. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and rarely missed a Phillies game. He also raised Beagles to run field trials.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth M. Fortna. He is survived by two sons: David H. Fortna of Elizabeth, N.J. and Donald R. Fortna of Camp Hill, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

At the request of Mr. Fortna, all services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.
