Delaware Indoor Track State Championships showcase top talent
Stellar performances prove track is back

The times and distances at the Feb. 9 DIAA Indoor State Track Championships were across the board as good as any over the last 40 years, proving that the winter sport athletic directors keep trying to kill is alive and well.
Caesar Rodney, powered by sprinters, won the boys' meet, followed by Dover, Salesianum, A.I. DuPont and Tatnall.
The girls' competition was won by the Padua Pandas, followed by Tatnall, Smyrna, Delcastle and Caesar Rodney.
Cape Henlopen placed eighth in the girls' competition and 10th among the boys. The championships were held in Newark.
