Consortium students run and walk for awareness

Sussex Consortium held its annual Blockhouse Pond Walk and Run recently to raise awareness about autism. This year's sponsors included the Dewey Beach Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus, Tech Gas, Surf Bagel, Food Lion, Seashore Striders, Great Impressions Screen Printing and the City of Lewes; Best Buddies arranged games and face painting. Melissa Steele is a staff writer covering the state Legislature, government and police.
