Delmarva Christian High School sets Feb. 13 open house

Delmarva Christian High School is hosting an open house for prospective students Thursday, Feb. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitors will meet DCHS teachers, staff, students and parents as they learn about the school’s Christ-centered curriculum that imparts excellence in academic standards, exceptional academic scores, and high college acceptance rates.

Information on the individual learning program known as iLearn, the unique and exciting J-Term, the athletic program, and the school’s offerings in music, visual and performing arts will also be available.

Also, visitors will be able to see construction of the new Arts & Athletic Center and tour the school’s academic areas throughout the three-hour event.

Delmarva Christian High School is a nondenominational Christian high school serving students in grades nine through 12. DCHS is dually accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association and the Association of Christian Schools International with teachers certified by the state of Delaware (or a reciprocal state) or by ACSI. Offering 12 different varsity-level sports, DCHS is a member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association, the Diamond State Conference, and the Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference.

The mission of Delmarva Christian High School is to proclaim the gospel by preparing students spiritually, academically, and physically to know and to do God’s will in their lives.
