The Warriors of Wilmington Christian used a strong wind to score their only goal at 22:30 of the first half, but the Vikings' strong legs battled into the wind at 27:22 to tie the game at 1-1. Strong defense from both squads ended regulation and overtime with the same totals on the scoreboard in the April 5 game at Cape.
Cape outshot the Warriors 11-10 and had a wide margin in corners at 7-0.
Cape goalie Olivia Baratto was credited with four stops in the contest.
