East Coast center kicks off Indoor Farmers Market

Farmers market shopping is extended into the winter months at East Coast Garden Center. The Indoor Farmers Market highlights the many growers, chefs, bakers, and more in the region.

The market is held at the Cordrey Center, 30366 Cordrey Road, Millsboro, on Tuesdays from noon to 4 p.m., and will run through March 17, 2015. It will be closed December 23 and 30 for the holidays.

Visit 19 unique local vendors selling products from the region. In addition to the vendors the market will also occasionally offer cooking demos, music, educational classes, and more.

Vendors include:

  • Stag Run Farm - Apples, honey, jams, baked goods, carmel apples

  • Old World Breads - Breads, pastries, soups

  • Lavender Fields - Lavender products: crafts, bath and body, culinary)

  • Yum Yum Sweets & Treats - Cupcakes and other small sweet treats

  • Backyard Jams & Jellies - Handmade jams, jellies, mustards, chutney, marmalades

  • Fresh Harvest Hydroponics

  • Booda Soapbox - Handmade vegan soap, soy candles, bath products

  • Chapel Country Creamery - Cheese

  • The Pointe Coffee house & bake shoppe - Coffee beans and brewed,  pies, sticky buns

  • Patty's - Chicken pot pie, soups, salsas, chips, salads

  • Black Bottom Farm - Pasture raised heritage pork

  • Suzie's Sunshine Sprouts

  • Sugar Spice & Everything Nice

  • The Soapbox - Laundry detergent and dish detergent

  • Delmarva Popcorn & Nut Company

  • Meat & Seafood Company - Porterhouse burgers and salmon burgers

  • Pappardelle's Pasta - Fine pastas

  • Maiale Deli & Salumeria - Sausage, salami, dips

  • East Coast Garden Center - Microgreens and wreaths. Migrogreens include: arugula, radish, bright lights chard, basil dark opal,  sorrel, mizuna, spicy micro mix, sunflower shoots.
