St. George's celebrates first anniversary of thrift shop

December 14, 2014

Volunteers hold up one finger to signify that as of Nov. 28 St. George’s Chapel Thrift Shop has been open one year.

The shop, affiliated with All Saints’ Church in Rehoboth Beach, is on Route 24 in the Trading Post Plaza near the Nanticoke Museum and across from Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church. It offers for sale gently used clothing, household items and small pieces of furniture.

The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The proceeds go to benefit the needs of others in Sussex County.
