Sunday evening interactive service at Conley’s Chapel set Jan. 11

There will be a spirit-led and interactive service at Conley’s Chapel at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 11. The service format is inspired by the New Testament-era house churches.

Participants are urged to bring a favorite hymn, song, scripture, prayer or testimony to share with the group. This month’s discussion will focus on the Wesleyan principle of reason as it relates to scripture. This service is held regularly on the second Sunday of the month.

Conley’s Chapel was dedicated in 1876 and is still used for special services and celebrations. Conley’s United Methodist Church opened a new worship center in 2010 and completed a refresh and rededication of the chapel in 2013. The chapel provides a warm and intimate environment for worship, singing, and sharing.
