UUSD offers new beginnings Jan. 4

January 1, 2015

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware, an inclusive religious community, meets at 10 a.m. Sundays, at 33739 Marsh Road in Lewes off Wescoats Road in Toddy's Business Complex.

On Sunday, Jan 4, Begin Again. The New Year tradition revolves around the idea that one sees the old year end and the new year begin, giving a sense that things will be better this year - a time of hope, generally.

The Rev. D. Michael Smith focuses on the good that has come out of the last year that will bring the promise of spiritual personal renewal and the strength to create a better world, sometimes an unimaginable task. Learn from mistakes and find ways not to repeat them.

Visitors are invited to join in refreshments and conversation after the service. For details, call the church office at 302-645-6334 or go to uussd.org.
