The British invaded Lewes May 2, as more than 100 of unique and lavish vehicles were attracted to the Lewes Historical Society complex for the 20th annual British Motorcar Show. Winners were selected by a popular vote of show attendees. Rolls Royce and Bentley were the featured marque.
This year’s event attracted 106 preregistered cars and nine cars registered on the day of the show. Attendance at the event was one of the best in years with more than 1,100 people, as there was no hint of British weather.
Following an announcement of winners, the top three cars in each category led a parade down Savannah Road and Second Street.
