Preston Ford receives Ford One Hundred Club Award

Ford Motor Company Representatives joined Dave Wilson of Preston Ford at the Crab Claw June 23 to present Wilson and his team with the prestigious Ford One Hundred Club Award. For the fourth time in the past five years, Lisa Vigneault and Tina Sabbat of Ford Motor Company were able to present the Preston Ford team the Top 100 award.

In 2014, Preston achieved the ranking of  No. 72 in the nation of all Ford dealers. “Preston Ford Lincoln continues to amaze many of us at Ford. They finished in the Top 100 Ford dealers in the nation based on new vehicle sales volume in 2014 when they are in a town of 800 people.  We are so proud of their accomplishment again this year and look forward to them finishing in the top 100 in 2015," said Vigneault.

The smart and efficient Ford products, strong support from the manufacturer, and the same shared values of Bill Ford and his team attribute to the individual dealer success. One of the greatest examples of this is was when Bill Ford, Allan Mulally, Mark Fields and the entire Ford Team did not accept bailout money. It was their strong leadership that helped Ford through one of the most trying times in American history, making them stronger and more customer driven than ever.

Ranking the 72nd Ford Dealer in the nation out to nearly 3,300 Ford dealerships in the United States in a town of a population of about 800 people, Preston Ford shows it’s not just the destination but the experience.

In 2014, the Preston group finished No. 1 in the Washington, D.C. region and ranked as the fifth dealer in the nation for December. Top sellers for 2014 were the Ford F-150, Explorer, Fusion and Escape. The game-changing 4-engine F-150, with high-strength military-grade aluminum alloy body, along with the new Edge and Mustang, will surely help propel the Preston team into the top 100 again in 2015.
