Mispillion Art League to feature Painted Stave

Mispillion Art League’s Third Thursday program for July will feature Painted Stave Distillery. This program is free and open to the public and will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 16.

The Painted Stave Distillery was founded in 2011 and was the first stand-alone craft distillery in Delaware. Painted Stave Distilling crafts premium spirits in small batches by utilizing only the best ingredients from regional farms. It is housed in a 1940s-era movie theater located in Smyrna.

Painted Stave Distilling released the first legal whiskey in Delaware for more than 100 years. They now have expanded their distribution into Maryland and Washington, D.C. Painted Stave is proud to have been named Delaware Distillery of the year.

The Mispillion Art League is located at 5 N. North Walnut Street in Milford, De. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. For more information call 302-430-7646.
