Ross to present The Lifelong Journey of Faith July 16 in Lewes
The Rev. Jeffrey A. Ross will present The Lifelong Journey of Faith at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at the St. Peter's Summer Spirituality Series.
Like humans' bodies and intellects, the spiritual selves also go through a process of growth and development. Each stage has its own challenges as people grow in their understanding of God. At this session of the Summer Spirituality Series, participants will explore different models of spiritual development and seek to discern where they are on the life-long journey of faith.
Ross has been the rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church for 10 years. The parish has been in existence for over 300 years, and is an active and growing community. He is a lifelong Episcopalian and has been ordained 18 years. Prior to ordination, he worked as a family therapist. He is a graduate of the General Theological Seminary, and holds a master of science degree in pastoral counseling from Neumann University.
The Summer Spirituality Series takes place at 7 p.m., every Thursday evening until Labor Day, in the Parish Hall of St. Peter’s at 211 Mulberry St. in Lewes. All presentations are free, although donations are gratefully accepted and open to the public. As in the past, fellowship and ice creams cones will follow the presentations.
