Free health fair set Aug. 8 at Millsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church

Millsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church will sponsor its annual free health fair from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, in the fellowship hall in the rear of the church.

There will be nine health screening stations which will include health-age screening by computer; body fat analysis by scale; hydrotherapy (water therapy); blood pressure; peak flow meter-lung capacity; chair massage; health counseling; glucose and cholesterol screening; and EKGs and bone density testing.

The church is at 30007 Cordrey Road, Millsboro, off Route 24, John J. Williams Highway and Streets Road, four miles east of Millsboro and 10 miles west of Route 1 and the beach area. There will be a first aid and CPR class held at 2 p.m. the same day, and the cost for these classes is $15 per person.
