The Cape Henlopen field hockey team recently raised funds for the American Heart Association on behalf of former Cape Henlopen High School ninth-grade geography teacher Kevin LeMaire.
On Sep. 17, the team hosted a Red Out during the game versus Caesar Rodney; the entire team solicited donations from fans and raised $570.
LeMaire’s wife Kari and his daughter Korinne, who is currently a sophomore on the field hockey team, along with his goddaughter, sophomore Victoria Lockwood, were thrilled to donate the money to the American Heart Association on behalf of their beloved father, husband and teacher, Kevin.
