Beauty and the Beach Hair Boutique celebrates grand opening in Rehoboth Beach

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce and members of the Meet and Greet Committee welcomed Beauty and the Beach Hair Boutique with a ribbon cutting Sept. 4.

After nearly eight months of being empty, the former Bella Mia Boutique was transformed to the newly designed Beauty and the Beach Hair Boutique. Located at 37169 Rehoboth Ave. Ext. in Henlopen Square just before the entrance to downtown Rehoboth Beach, boutique owners Travis Stoops and Tom Farina bring over 10 years of professional experience to their first location.

“We view ourselves as an experience and not just as a salon,” said Stoops. “We take pride on connecting and honoring each client as a whole person. We transform your hair and allow your personality to shine. Our mission is to provide high-quality beauty services by experienced stylists in a relaxed setting so every client feels confident they will leave looking and feeling beautiful.”

“We want not only to give great service, but to educate and inspire our clients," said Farina. “This is approached by creating a fun and positive atmosphere for the client.”

“We saw an opportunity and we took it,” said Stoops. “Just like any business, I think when customers come in they’ll recognize the importance of having excellent customer service, and appreciate having an establishment that carries the highest-quality products.”

The renovated boutique features an inviting 1,100-square-foot space that includes coastal living interior design elements that complement the location.  New additions include pallet walls and a beverage bar for clients to enjoy their favorite beverage. Beauty and the Beach offers standard services including haircuts, color, texturizing services, shampoos, blow drying, formal styling, waxing services, conditioning treatments, manicures/pedicures, makeup services and a variety of specials and packages.

“We don’t view our customers as a job,” said Stoops. “No two customers are alike when it comes to beauty products. We are able to customize each individual’s characteristics to create the ultimate experience.”

“Our boutique is positioned in a fantastic location,” said Farina. “A lot of really exciting things happen in Rehoboth and we’re just excited to be a part of it. And there is free parking.”
