Frank J. Sapienza Jr., Boulevard mechanic

Frank Joseph Sapienza Jr., of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, March, 26, 2011, due to injuries of an automobile accident in Georgetown.

Frank was born May 23, 1983, in Carmel, N.Y. He worked as a mechanic at Boulevard Auto Sales in Lewes. He was also a partner in Shore Cut Lawn Company. His hobbies included working on Volkswagen's and Mopar vehicles and golfing. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was also a snowboarding enthusiast and had recently spent time in Utah.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Frank Sapienza. He is survived by his parents, Frank Sr., and Renee Sapienza of Georgetown; paternal grandmother, Rose Sapienza of Drakes Branch, Va.; maternal grandmother, Eilone Gonyon of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; great-uncle, Vinny Sapienza; two sisters, Malissa Emerick and husband Shawn of Georgetown, Jessica Walker and her husband Sam of Ellendale; brother, Joseph Frank Sapienza and his wife Jennifer of Georgetown; nieces and nephews, Braiden Emerick, Brea Emerick, Anna Bella Sapienza, Julianna Thomas, Shaila Walker, and Sammy Walker; close friend, Christine Davis; and many friends and his dog, Boomer.

A celebration of life service will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
