Dr. Zach Tomko, DC, of Lewes Chiropractic Earns Advanced Certification of Chiropractic Sports Physician
Dr. Zach Tomko, a leading chiropractic professional at Lewes Chiropractic, is proud to announce that he has obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). This distinguished certification reflects an advanced level of clinical competency in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. The CCSP certification requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 100 hours of a 120-hour postgraduate program. Following the completion of those hours, the doctor must then take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination.
“I am honored to have achieved the CCSP certification,” said Dr. Tomko. “This advanced training further enhances my ability to provide precise, research-informed care to athletes and active individuals seeking to prevent injuries, optimize performance, and recover efficiently.” This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. The CCSP certification exists to provide a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that the doctor has met a minimum level of competency in chiropractic sports medicine. Dr. Tomko joins over 6,000 others internationally who hold this designation.
