The biggest weekend yet of the 2022 Fall Festival Season is upon as, with this Friday through Sunday featuring a wide selection of fun and popular events throughout Delaware and Maryland.

Headlined by a featured event at the Delaware Coastal Airport in Georgetown and a slew of events in historic Lewes, this weekend features a little something for everyone.

We've got so much to talk about this week that we're not going to waste any more time priming the pump, so to speak. Let's get right to the events!

Here are our top events for the weekend of September 30-October 2 at and near the Delaware and Maryland beaches:

Wings & Wheels (September 30 - October 1)

The 2022 Wings & Wheels Festival is planned for this Saturday at the Delaware Coastal Airport in Georgetown, with a special hanger event the night before.

As always, this event is dominated by a host of classic cars and aircraft, with highlights this year including World War II warbirds, the United States Navy Parachute Team, the Delaware National Guard C130 and Blackhawk helicopter and much more.

The Friday night dinner show and "Island Hanger Party" is scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m., also at the airport. The main event on Saturday runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
