Free Concert Thursday in Lewes Canalfront Park-Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz

The free Concerts by the Canal series continues its eighth season with the popular Christine Havrilla and Gypsy Fuzz. The band will perform in Lewes Canalfront Park, located at 211 Front Street in Historic Lewes, on Thursday August 15 at 7:00 pm. This event is free and made possible through support of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park. Award-wining singer/songwriter Christine Havrilla, has twelve albums, 3 EPs, and over 15 years of touring nationally, Christine utilizes the soft, gritty texture of her vocals to express warmth and honesty which complements her aggressive, raw, guitar playing. She has an arsenal of songs that have endeared her to a devoted following, calling her unique style “neofunkadelicfolkpoptwangrock”. The band has performed with superstars including Brandi Carlile, America, Janis Ian, Train, Don McLean, Indigo Girls, Dixie Chicks, Heart, and Dave Mason, Bring your blanket or lawn chair, and maybe a picnic supper for a fun, free Concert by the Canal on the banks of the beautiful Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. Other concerts this summer feature Indian River (former Clifford Keith Band) on August 29 at 7 pm.
