Come be part of something pawsitive!
Calling all dog lovers! Dewey Beach is about to go golden for a good cause. Join us on Saturday, May 10th, for Dewey’s Golden Jubilee, a tail-wagging celebration featuring hundreds of Golden Retrievers, sandy paws, and plenty of fun — all for a great cause.
The mission of Dewey’s Golden Jubilee is to celebrate the joy, love, and loyalty of Golden Retrievers while making a meaningful impact in the world of animal welfare. This heartwarming beach event brings together Golden lovers from across the country to honor our four-legged friends.
Dewey’s Golden Jubilee is proud to support the Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, one of the most important canine health studies in history. By raising awareness and funds for this groundbreaking research, the event helps advance veterinary science and improve the lives of dogs everywhere—for generations to come.
This joyful beach gathering also serves as a pet supply drive in honor of Miles, a beloved Bernese Mountain Dog rescue who found his forever family thanks to the Brandywine Valley SPCA. Now, we’re giving back to help other animals find their second chance.
The donation drive is organized and run by Miles's owner, Nicole Holland of The Oldfather Group, Compass. Donations are being collected at the Dewey's Golden Jubilee Beach Party - Saturday, May 10th, from 10:00 - 12:00, on Van Dyke St in Dewey Beach.
Whether you come to mingle with the pups, drop off donations, or just soak in the sunshine, your contribution makes a difference. Let’s make it a morning to remember — for the animals who need us most.
See you on the sand!
