‘Soul Stages’ author to speak, sign books Sept. 24-25

Reception for the Rev. Christopher Chamberlin Moore set at All Saints’ in Rehoboth
September 15, 2022

The Rev. Christopher Chamberlin Moore, an Episcopal priest and author of “Soul Stages: Surviving and Thriving in the Second Half of Life,” will sign books at a reception set for 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, in the rectory garden at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

The reception will take place immediately after the 5 p.m. outdoor service. Everyone is invited to bring a beach chair or blanket and come as they are, even directly off the beach, Boardwalk or street. Services take place in the church gardens adjacent to the historic 1894 church structure, the oldest and only original worship site still standing and in continuous use in Rehoboth Beach.

Moore will preach during the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday, Sept. 25, at St. George’s Chapel, 20271 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson, and sign books afterward. Moore served as a priest associate at the Episcopal Parish of All Saints’ and St. George’s from 2008 to 2013.

“Soul Stages” speaks to the challenges of adults attempting not only to survive but to thrive during the latter part of  life. With humor and personal stories, including tales about his ministry at All Saints’ and St. George’s, Moore speaks of seeing life transitions as opportunities for spiritual and emotional growth. “Soul Stages” is available from online booksellers. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase and signing at the two events. There is no charge to attend. Freewill offerings will be taken at the services.
