2020 Cottage & Town Award winners announced in Rehoboth

Rehoboth Beach Main Street recognized the winners of the 2020 Cottage & Town Awards with a presentation Oct. 17 at its office near Grove Park. The awards recognize residential and commercial property owners who contribute to the charm, beauty and history of downtown Rehoboth through architectural and landscape architectural renovation, restoration and preservation.

There are four award categories including residential renovation, restoration and preservation; commercial renovation, restoration and preservation; landscape architectural renovation, restoration and preservation; and new this year, residential new construction. Winners received an embossed bronze plaque.

This year’s winners were Tom Gaynor and Steven Linehan of 80 Oak Ave. for their landscaping; Jonathon Selway and Scott Edmonston of 38 Oak Ave. for the residential category; Loungin’ Lizzard for the commercial renovation of 161 Rehoboth Ave.; and Jeff and Eileen Sellman of 506 Jones Lane for new construction.
