Adam Lambert to lead Dogfish sales force

June 26, 2009

Adam Lambert has joined Dogfish Head Craft Brewery as the vice president of sales. No, this is not the Adam Lambert of song and stage; this is the Adam Lambert of beer and benevolence.

Lambert leads targeted, thirst-quenching growth initiatives of the Dogfish Head brewery. Lambert manages a department of eight off-centered staff, including one national sales manager, four regional sales managers who cover Mid-Atlantic, New England, the Midwest, southern and western territories and one sales coordinator.

Lambert joined Dogfish Head from Rogue Ales and Spirits in Portland, Ore., where he spent more than five years working as national sales and marketing, and import/export-manager. Lambert has concentrated his career in the beer industry, working his way through the retail and distribution sides of the business. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Cal Poly’s College of Agriculture.

Lambert is known to engage people for hours about off-centered ales, World Cup soccer or life as he knew it when he lived across the pond.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales can currently be found in fine retail stores, chains, restaurants and bars in 28 states, and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is continuing to grow.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery pushes the boundaries of what beer should be at its production brewery in Milton.

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is the sister company in Rehoboth Beach.
