Agility dog challenge to raise funds for SPCA Feb. 13-15

For dogs who like to chase and run, Blue Heron Agility Dogs announced it will take part in AKC Fast Cat and Fit Walk events from Friday to Sunday, Feb. 13 to 15, at Trap Pond State Park, 15702 Goose Nest Road, Laurel. The event has been rescheduled from its original dates, Jan. 23-25, due to the impending inclement weather forecast.

Fast Cat is a 100-yard dash for dogs. Dashers are released at one end of the enclosed course, and someone catches them at the finish line. 

To benefit the Brandywine SPCA, the club will host a Dash challenge. For every dog that meets the challenge, scoring higher than Dash’s runs, a $10 contribution be donated.
