Albert ‘Tom’ Zellers Jr., Country Club Estates association president

Albert Thomas "Tom" Zellers Jr., 73, of Baltimore, Md., passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, surrounded by his family.

Tom was born in Baltimore, Dec. 1, 1945, son of Albert Thomas Zellers and Marie (Shinnick) Zellers. Tom lived most of his life in Baltimore, where he worked for Constellation Energy for 35 years.

Upon retirement, Tom and his wife, Lorraine, purchased a home in Rehoboth Beach in 1998, which they renovated themselves through a labor of love. Tom loved home projects, and often helped family and friends with home renovations and updates. He was always up for a good hands-on project.

Tom was active in the Rehoboth community, where he served as president of Country Club Estates Property Owners Association. Tom was also involved in Save Our Lakes Alliance 3 (SOLA3) and updates made to Silver Lake's Tot Lot. Tom loved his Rehoboth community and moved to Rehoboth fulltime in 2015.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lorraine (Michalski) Zellers; son, Albert Thomas "Tom" Zellers III and his wife Stacy; granddaughters, Emily and Julia; brothers, Jerry and Charlie Zellers; and a host of family and friends.

Friends and family will be received Thursday and Friday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, at Cvach Rosedale Funeral Home in Rosedale, Md., from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Church in Rosedale, Saturday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m.
