American Legion Auxiliary national president to visit Delaware Jan. 16-19
American Legion Auxiliary National President Kathy Daudistel will visit the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware from Sunday, Jan. 16 to Wednesday, Jan. 19.
The department is planning a full schedule for her visit. National executive committee member Debbie Guenther will be her official escort during her time in Delaware.
Daudistel will participate in the Martin L. King Jr. Day of Service baby shower for Delaware National Guard families from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, at American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28, Millsboro.
She will also visit the Dover Air Force Base, the Home of the Brave in Milford and Milford Post 3. She will conclude her visit Jan. 19 with a Legion family luncheon hosted by ALA Unit 28.
A member of the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Kentucky, Daudistel became the national president of the American Legion Auxiliary during the organization’s 100th national convention held Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 in Phoenix. Daudistel is eligible for ALA membership through her father William Kaelin Jr., a United States Army veteran who served during the Korean War era.
