Veterans and community members gathered Nov. 11 at American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro to honor those who served in the armed forces. A POW/MIA table ceremony remembered those missing.
Special guest speakers Nancy Lynch who created the Vietnam Mailbag to keep Delawareans connected to those serving in Vietnam, and Rick Lovekin, who shared his slideshow program of Vietnam veterans.
Judy Mangini sung “God Bless America” as a memorial wreath was placed by the Colorettes of Post 28.
The ceremony closed with a seven-gun salute and taps followed by lunch.
