Anthony Michael Wilkinson Jr., touched many lives

May 21, 2019

With deepest sorrow we announce that Anthony Michael Wilkinson Jr., 24, affectionately known as “Ant,” of Millsboro, born  Aug. 2, 1994, died Thursday, May 9, 2019, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

In his short 24 years with us, Ant touched many people's lives. He was a sweet young man with a big beautiful smile, and was so full of life. Anthony was employed by Wawa as a sales associate, where he was loved by co-workers and customers alike. Family and friends who knew him best, knew Ant as being the happiest as a jokester who enjoyed nothing more than making other people smile.

Among Ant's interests were sports, video games and tattoos. He loved the Sixers, Celtics, Phillies and Ohio State, but was a diehard Eagles fan. Anthony also enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, but above all his biggest passion, one that his entire world revolved around, was the love of his life, Chelsey Lynn. If he wasn't working, he was with Chelsey. He also had a healthy appetite for tacos, seafood and spicy foods he acquired from his grandad, the late William Lewis Schilling, who preceded him in death.

Anthony is survived by his mother Alicia L. Hamons and stepfather Jason F. Volk; granny Linda K. Schilling; grandmother, Kathy Burke; godmother, Kerry M. Porter; grandaddy Charles G. Hamons; neenah Joyce Hamons; the love of his life, Chelsey Lynn Hall; aunt Donna Hurwitz; uncle Mark Hurwitz; aunt Brenda Steiner (The Monkey Lady); uncle Herb Steiner; father Tony Wilkinson; sister Britteny Wilkinson; and gram Cheryl Wilkinson. Anthony is also survived by many cousins, co-workers, and a multitude of close friends!

He will forever be missed beyond measure! RIP my dear sweet baby boy!!! Momma loves you forever; until we meet again! My little "Fred."

A service to celebrate Ant’s life will be held at a later date.
