Vendors and shoppers fill downtown Lewes for annual fundraiser
July 5, 2023

The streets of downtown Lewes were lined with white tents and a lot of people July 1 for the 57th annual St. Peter’s Art Show.

More than 100 artists were on hand for the show. Among the works for sale were paintings, photographs, pottery, jewelry and many other unique items. Many of the artists also took part in a silent auction inside St. Peter’s Parish Hall.

The Rev. Jeffrey Ross said all proceeds go to community organizations in Sussex County. The church will soon announce the total amount raised this year.

Next year’s show will be held Saturday, July 6.
