Artisans’ Bank broke ground July 23 on a new office located on Route 24 at the southeast corner entrance of the Beebe Healthcare Campus between Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. The current location is off Miller Road, outside of Rehoboth Beach.
According to a press release announcing the groundbreaking, the new office is scheduled to open in Spring 2022; will accommodate consumer and commercial banking needs of existing and new customers; will offer a small business center, coffee bar, two drive-up banking lanes, a drive-up ATM, and a night depository. Attached to the branch, there will also be a welcoming office environment to serve commercial and consumer lending customers within the local community.
According to the non-confidential portions of the application, on file at the Office of the State Bank Commissioner, the building will be a 3,748 square foot, one-story office.
In a prepared statement, Artisans’ Bank Chief Lending Officer Dave Ferguson said, “With a dedicated and engaged team, Artisans’ Bank is well-positioned to further enhance our presence and contributions to the coastal communities of Sussex County.”
Artisans’ Bank President and CEO Beth Albano said the bank is excited to continue to invest in and serve the Rehoboth Beach and Sussex County markets. The new facility on Route 24 allows Artisans’ to better serve the local community by providing convenient access to a full complement of retail and commercial banking products and services, she said.
