A worker trimming trees April 15 at the intersection of Second Street and Henlopen Avenue was injured after he touched a power line, officials say.
The man was in an elevated bucket trimming trees at 11:17 a.m. when he touched a power line, said Warren Jones, spokesman for the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Co.
“It knocked him out of the bucket, but he had a harness on so he didn’t hit the ground,” Jones said.
Rehoboth Beach Police and the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company responded, and the man was taken by ambulance to Beebe Healthcare. An update on his injuries was not available.
