ATI Physical Therapy continues Sussex County expansion with Lewes clinic
ATI Physical Therapy announces continued expansion in Sussex County with the opening of a second clinic in as many weeks at 17252 N. Village Main Blvd., Suite 2 in the Villages of Five Points, Lewes. The clinic, which opened Aug. 25, is ATI’s 28th location in Delaware.
The team at ATI Lewes provides physical therapy and sports medicine in a friendly and upbeat environment. Services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, and therapeutic modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
Joseph Skocypec, DPT, CWcHP has been named clinic director at the new location. Skocypec started with ATI Physical Therapy in 2007 and has previously been a clinic director at the Smyrna and Wilmington/Greenhill ATI clinics. He received his bachelor's degree in biological science in 2004 and received his doctorate in physical therapy in 2007, both from the University of Delaware.
He enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions with special interests in the rehabilitation of athletes, and foot, ankle, and knee injuries. His continuing education interests include evaluation and treatment of lower extremity dysfunction and shoulder dysfunction, active release techniques, functional movement systems, and McKenzie diagnosis and treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral spine.
