Atlantic Boardwalk Grille holds grand opening

The grand opening of the Atlantic Boardwalk Grille, located on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach  between Baltimore and Maryland avenues, took place June 13 in spite of the storms that blew through the area.

Approximately 55 people braved the weather to attend and were treated to entertainment by Viki Dee while winning raffle prizes that ranged from tickets to Clear Space Theatre Company productions and free rounds of golf for four at the Rookery to a gift basket from Harry & David and gift certificates for a future visit to the Atlantic Boardwalk Grille.

One lucky young man from Alexandria, Va., who was at the event won a gift certificate to Sign-A-Rama that he’s using to have a banner made for his softball team.

Patrons were highly complimentary regarding the totally new décor, oceanfront views and food offerings that include slow hickory smoked prime rib, Blue Point oysters, farm-to-fork and Caribbean cobb salads, rockfish po' boy shorties, bouillabaisse, spit-roasted Caribbean chicken, Black Angus and veggie burgers and pineapple slaw. The house martini and Sands Rum Punch are specialties of the house along with $3 Yuengling beers.
